Broughton Consulting helps businesses build thriving workplace cultures of engagement, accountability, and results. We work closely with business executives to identify their needs and implement custom solutions. Some of the ways we do this include:
Surveying current engagement levels and then creating an employee-focused culture through actionable core values, recognition and rewards, and other customized practices
Tailoring the practice of open book management and gainsharing for your business to increase transparency and alignment at all levels
Assisting companies with B Corporation certification and other measures of social and environmental impact
Helping businesses and nonprofits with visioning, SWOT analyses, and setting measurable goals, objectives and tactics
Identifying potential investors and/or evaluating and implementing employee ownership options such as employee stock option plans (ESOPs) or co-ops
REPORTS AND CASE STUDIES
Researching and writing engaging case studies highlighting innovative practices from companies throughout the U.S.
Businesses We’ve Learned From
We’ve been privileged to delve deeply into the innovative employee engagement practices at leading companies around the U.S. such as New Belgium Brewing, Dansko, King Arthur Flour, Zappos, Zingerman’s, Tasty Catering, Marlin Steel, Better World Books, Namaste Solar, SRC Remanufacturing, Southern Energy Management, and The Redwoods Group. Broughton Consulting takes lessons learned from these and other business leaders and adapts them to meet the needs of our clients.
How We Work
Broughton Consulting specializes in working with small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs), usually ranging from five to 500 employees but sometimes up to 1,000; we can also work with larger companies or nonprofits. Our approach is to sit down together and learn about your company’s needs and aspirations, and then to work with you to identify and implement creative and effective solutions.
